WDAF-TV is the Fox affiliated television station serving the Kansas City, Missouri-Kansas designated market area. The station is owned by Local TV LLC, the media arm of private equity firm Oak Hill Capital Partners. Its studios and transmitter are located in the Signal Hill neighborhood of Kansas City. The station broadcasts a digital signal on UHF channel 34, using its former analog channel assignment of channel 4 as its virtual digital channel via PSIP. WDAF-TV is a news-intensive Fox station with 49 hours a week of locally produced newscasts, as well as first-run prime time, late night and sports programming from Fox. It also runs off-network sitcoms, talk shows, reality shows and court shows.

KMBC TV

KMBC-TV, channel 29, virtual channel 9, is a television station located in Kansas City, Missouri. KMBC-TV is owned by Hearst Television, and is affiliated with the ABC Television Network. Its studios and transmitter are located in Kansas City, Missouri. The station broadcasts its digital signal on UHF channel 29, using its former analog assignment of channel 9 as its virtual digital channel via PSIP. The station's 343 metres (1,130 ft) high guyed mast broadcast tower built in 1988 is at 5701 E 22nd Street in eastern Kansas City on a hill above the Blue River.[1]

Kansas.com is the Web site of The Wichita Eagle, the largest newspaper in Kansas, serving Wichita, the largest city in Kansas, and the surrounding area.

The predecessor of Kansas.com, WichitaOnline, was launched on Nov. 18, 1996, carrying a selection of news from The Wichita Eagle. In November 1999, Kansas.com was launched as a regional information portal, running parallel to WichitaOnline, which continued to serve up news from The Eagle. Over time, the two sites converged until WichitaOnline was quietly retired in favor of Kansas.com.
